The People Minded Lifecycle

Edition 1

Culture That Begins Building a Brand That Attracts and Grows Talent.

The Z3 Employee Lifecycle

Our work is guided by a simple but powerful model:

Discover. Welcome. Elevate. Evolve. Celebrate.

Each stage represents an opportunity to create clarity, connection, and consistency. Through this series, we’ll break down how to bring each one to life inside your organization.

Welcome to the first edition of the Z3 Monday Series—a weekly look at how organizations can align culture, leadership, and employee experience through every stage of the employee lifecycle.

I’m currently partnering with a forward-thinking company on a full cultural transformation. What sets them apart is their decision to start with employment branding—understanding that how you show up as an employer shapes how your culture grows.

This Week’s Focus: Discover & Evolve

At Z3, our employee lifecycle has five stages:

Discover. Welcome. Elevate. Evolve. Celebrate.

In this edition, we’re diving into Discover and Evolve—two key moments where transformation takes root.

Discover is where potential employees first encounter your brand—on your website, through social media, job posts, or even word of mouth.

This is where your Employee Value Proposition (EVP) comes to life, clearly communicating who you are, what you stand for, and why someone should choose to join your team. It’s all about making a strong, authentic first impression.

Evolve is about what happens after onboarding. It’s the commitment to developing, supporting, and retaining your people—through coaching, feedback, learning opportunities, and internal mobility. When done well, Evolve drives both individual growth and organizational performance.

Where Does the Employee Engagement Survey Fit?

The employee engagement survey lives in the Evolve phase. It’s a vital tool for listening to your team, understanding what’s working, and uncovering areas to grow. Surveys help inform leadership, shape strategy, and show employees that their voices matter—building a culture of continuous improvement

Launching Culture Change with Amazing Workplace

At Z3, we use Amazing Workplace to power the listening phase of cultural transformation. Their survey platform offers a simple, strategic way to hear what employees are really experiencing and respond with focused action.

Here’s how the process works:

1. Launch the Survey – Gather real, anonymous feedback.

2. Review the Data – Identify patterns, gaps, and strengths.

3. Define 3 Major Initiatives – Focus on what matters most.

4. Assign Ownership & Action Plans – Turn insight into execution.

5. Define What Needs to Shift – Evolve systems, communication, and leadership habits.

6. Monitor Progress & Keep Listening – Use pulse surveys and check-ins to stay aligned.
